Kirisun T60, T65 or T350: which PoC radio suits you

All three talk over 4G and Wi-Fi with a SIM card, report their position by GPS and have an SOS button. They differ in display, number of groups, toughness and weight. Here is which one suits which job.

  • Authorised Motorola Solutions dealer
  • Kirisun PoC distributor for Greece & Cyprus
  • Programming and setup
  • Support from Thessaloniki since 2001

What to look for

How many groups you need

The T65 switches between up to 16 groups with a knob, the T60 has up to 128 and the T350 up to 999. A small guarding team is fine with the T65; a company with many departments needs the T350.

Display or simplicity

The T350 has a 1.77-inch colour display and the T60 a monochrome one. The T65 has no display: staff only need the knob and the talk button.

Toughness outdoors

The T60 and T65 are fully dust-tight and protected against water jets (IP65). The T350 is IP54, protected against dust and splashes, and is slimmer and lighter.

Same platform

They all talk on the same Kirisun PoC platform, so you can mix models in one group: T350 for supervisors, T65 for staff.

When to choose the T350

The T350 is the most complete. The colour display shows groups and users, its 999 groups suit large companies, and Bluetooth connects wireless speaker-microphones such as the Kirisun KME-BT and the Dellking H4. It is slim (25 mm) and light (200 g), which suits shift leaders, drivers and technicians who carry it all day. For long shifts there are the KB-T350 spare battery and the KBC-350 charger.

When to choose the T60

The T60 looks and feels like a classic two-way radio. With IP65 and a 3600 mAh battery it is made for outdoor shifts: site security, building sites, ports and farms. The monochrome display and up to 128 groups are enough for most businesses.

When to choose the T65

The T65 has the same rugged body as the T60 but no display: you change group with the knob, like a channel on a classic radio, and the 1 W speaker is heard in noisy places. It supports one-to-one and one-to-all calls. It suits staff who do not want menus and buttons: cleaning, guarding, warehouses.

And the T30?

At 185 g the Kirisun T30 is the lightest PoC radio we sell. It has Android, a colour display, Bluetooth, a 4000 mAh battery for up to 48 hours according to Kirisun, and 3G/2G fallback. It suits couriers, sales reps and event staff. It is rated IP54, like the T350.

Accessories for each model

For the T60 and T65 there are the KB-W65 3600 mAh spare battery and the KBC-W65 charging base. For the T350, the KB-T350 battery and the KBC-350 charger. For the radios with Bluetooth (T350, T30 and M50) there are Bluetooth speaker-microphones and earpieces for cable-free talk.

Which one for which job

For security patrols, the T60 handles rain and dust and the T350 adds a colour display and Bluetooth for an earpiece. For logistics drivers, the M50 in the vehicle plus a T350 or T30 for when they step out. For cleaning, hotel and warehouse staff, the no-display T65. For building sites, the T60 and T65 with IP65. For event staff on the move all day, the light T30.

If you are not sure, start from who needs to see information on a display (supervisors) and who just talks (staff). Two models are usually enough for the whole team.

How the team is set up

The process is the same for all three models: we define the talk groups with you on the Kirisun platform, fit data SIM cards and set up each radio so it arrives ready. If the supervisor wants a map, call recording and SOS alarms, we add the Kirisun PoC Dispatcher.

Setup tips

  1. You can mix models: T350 for supervisors and drivers, T65 for staff who just talk.
  2. Write down the groups you need and who must hear whom first; that shows whether the T65’s 16 groups are enough.
  3. For outdoor shifts with dust or rain, prefer the T60 or T65 with IP65.

Good to know before you buy

  • All of them need mobile or Wi-Fi coverage, a data SIM card and a platform subscription.
  • IP65 protects against dust and water jets, not immersion.
  • Kirisun’s battery figures are for typical use; long shifts need a spare battery.
