Terms of Sale

PTT.gr is an online shop run by GPSCOM. By browsing or ordering from PTT.gr you accept the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the shop.

2. Products and information

We sell licence-free PMR446 walkie-talkies, professional analogue and digital (DMR) radios, PoC (push-to-talk over cellular) radios and accessories. Descriptions and specifications are based on the manufacturers' data. Photos are for illustration.

Radio range depends on terrain, buildings, weather and the antenna. Range figures quoted by manufacturers are for ideal conditions and are not a guaranteed performance.

3. Frequency licences and lawful use

PMR446 radios (446.0–446.2 MHz, up to 0.5 W) are licence-free in Greece and the EU. Professional VHF/UHF/DMR radios may only be used on frequencies assigned by EETT, the Greek telecoms regulator. PoC radios need a data SIM and a PoC platform subscription.

Obtaining a licence and using the equipment lawfully is the buyer's responsibility. We can help you prepare the application, but licences are issued by EETT.

4. Prices

• Prices are in euro and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
• Delivery costs and any cash-on-delivery fee are shown in the basket before you place the order.
• If a price is obviously wrong (for example because of a technical error), we will tell you and you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it free of charge.

5. Orders and the contract

The contract is made when we email you the order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order if the product is unavailable, the details are incomplete or the payment is not approved. In that case we refund anything you have paid straight away.

For businesses, our written quotes are valid for the period stated on them. A quote request sent through the website is not an order.

6. Payment methods

The available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include card, IRIS, Apple Pay/Google Pay through a certified payment provider, and cash on delivery. Your card details are processed only by the payment provider; we never see or store them.

7. Delivery

We ship to Greece and Cyprus from Thessaloniki. Costs and estimated delivery times per area are on the Delivery costs page. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you receive the parcel.

Please check the parcel on delivery. If the packaging is visibly damaged, note it with the courier and let us know.

8. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Details and exceptions are in the Returns Policy. The right of withdrawal applies to consumers, not to purchases made for business purposes.

9. Warranty

All products carry the two-year legal guarantee of conformity for consumers. Where the manufacturer gives an additional commercial warranty, its terms are on the product page or the warranty card. The warranty does not cover damage from drops, moisture beyond the product's ingress rating, an unsuitable charger or repair by an unauthorised technician. Batteries are consumables and lose capacity with use.

10. Programming and services

When we programme radios with frequencies, channels or settings you give us, the product is configured to your specification. PoC platform subscriptions are also governed by the platform provider's terms, which we give you before activation.

11. Customer account

You can buy without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password safe. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

12. Reviews and user content

We publish reviews only from verified email addresses and check them before publication. We do not publish reviews with abusive content, other people's personal data or advertising. We never pay for or reward positive reviews.

13. Intellectual property

The text, guides, design and logo of PTT.gr belong to GPSCOM. Motorola, Kirisun and other manufacturers' trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe the products.

14. Liability

We do our best to keep the information on the website correct and up to date. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from the use of the products or the website. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law.

15. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at support@ptt.gr; we reply within 2 working days. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr) or another consumer alternative dispute resolution body.

These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes with businesses go to the courts of Thessaloniki; consumers may also use the courts where they live.

16. Changes

We may change these terms. Each order is governed by the terms in force on the day it was placed.
